Calling all Volunteers
On Tuesday, October 7, 2008, Lift Up Canada, CDI College and Vancouver Career College will bring 1,400 young people and their families to the Vancouver movie premiere of Meet Me in Miami at Cinemark Tinseltown. This event will treat the children and their families as the Honoured Guests at a Hollywood-style premiere hosted by actor and musician Jim Byrnes. They will arrive in limousines, walk down the red carpet and be greeted by celebrities, sports stars and local dignitaries before they watch the movie. It will be a night that they will remember forever.
We need Volunteer Ambassadors to help at the premiere with a variety of assignments ranging from preparing gift bags for the children, helping them board limousines, monitoring them inside the theatre and more. Please join us to help make this event special for our 1,400 Honoured Guests. Volunteers will be invited to attend a brief training at the theatre on October 7 and preview the Meet Me in Miami movie.
